Gone To the Dogs Capability Reviews

On March 7 2011 a client Kate F. in San Rafael submitted a review stating that she received a call from the Marin County Sheriff Department that her dog had been locked in a car in which the keys were also locked inside by a dog walker for this company. When she refused to pay for the dog walk that occured on the day her dog was locked in, the owner sent texts, phone calls, and emails which the client felt was harrassing. The client also says that she had been told by witnesses that her dog was only getting walked for 5 minutes though she was being charged for 45 minute walks.

The company owner stated the following to The Prime Buyer’s Report in response: The dog walker did accidentally lock her keys in the car with this client’s dog, and four other dogs inside. The company owner showed up onsite, and asked both the Sherriff’s department and fire department for assistance but a locked car was not something they would deal with. The dog walker then broke her own car window to gain entry. The dogs had only been in the car for 38 minutes and were not in any danger and suffered no harm. The owners of the four other dogs in the car are still clients.   The company owner denies the client’s dog was walked for less than the time charged for, and states that the client refused to pay for four walks she got in November, not merely one day.
