On March 2 2011 a consumer Dan D. submitted a review to The Prime Buyer’s Report about being dissatisfied with this company. He stated that when he told the employee onsite that the work being done was different than agreed to, he was yelled at by the worker. The same day he complained to the company owner about this, a complaint was made with the City alleging that work on his property was being done without permits, causing his project to be investigated and delayed. He further states that in a conference call with him, the owner and the employee, the employee made an allegation about his sexual orientation that was incorrect. He says he ultimately had to pay to have the work by this company redone by others.
On March 3 2011 a researcher for The Prime Buyer’s Report called and asked to speak with the company owner, and was given to the Customer Service Manager, who stated the following in response: The written agreement contained a price quote of $180.00 but stated in writing that the price could change based on the difficulty of removing old pipe, and the client signed this. The company charged $280.00 to install a 1" regulator and fix 15 feet of ¾" sprinkler pipe in the back yard, and that the estimated market price for the regulator alone is $207.00. The onsite employee did have a disagreement with the customer saying it was regarding work he was asked to do which he did not believe met legal requirements, and the company denies having made any complaint to City Hall about the project at the customer’s property.
The consumer Dan D. says that the company’s response is factually incorrect in that the bid was for 15 feet of pipe but the company only did 8 feet and would not bury it as originally agreed, that there was no original bid for $180, that it was always for $280 but the company did less work than called for in the agreement.
