"Our deepest condolences go out to the family and loved ones of Ms. Wiley. She was a beloved member of our community and will be greatly missed.

We do however take very seriously any suspicions of negligence or misconduct. Allegations like these are immediately brought to the attention of our executive leadership team, who then immediately launch an internal investigation in conjunction with that of local authorities.

In the case of Ms. Wiley, the same processes and procedures were followed and subsequent investigation results found no indications of mistreatment or neglect. At the request of Ms. McManus, this included an investigation by the LAPD Homicide Division and two separate coroner analyses, which ultimately determined no impropriety on the part of Silverado. In fact, our Calabasas community has never been found guilty of malpractice — contrary to the misrepresented reports that have been posted online.
